Ok lads, the last payment for the holiday is due in the next week, the last date for hand in is actually the 9th but due to it being bank holiday Monday First choice is probably shut so it will have to be done by NEXT SATURDAY.

Yo peeps

Just wanted to give you the low down on my current situation,

Basically the Uni recommended I intermit this year, and thats what I'm doing. So I'll probably be back in Ipswich from like April till October when I will go back to uni and do my 2nd year again. I'm pretty cool about this now, it wasn't really my preferred option but I have missed a lot this year due to my injuries and other things.

Kinda cool though as all you guys will be back soon, very much looking forward to Turkey!!

Hey guys,

Basically Hendy has dropped out of the holiday and we need a replacement by this tuesday!

Hendy has paid his deposit of £145 so you would owe that to him, but you can sort that out between yourselves.

The other payment would be for £127 by April 9th, so you've got a good month to get that in. You can send cheques to my mum and she will take it in for you, the address is at the bottom of the page.

I really need to know by Monday at the latest, so please get back to me!

The prices when we get out there I'm told are very low, so that means cheap beer! so you won't need as much spending money as usual.

Things to do

As you can see the hotel is awesome and only 50m from the beach! Its going to be quite hot with an average temperature of 37c, extreme tanning all the way! We bars and clubs are pretty similar to what we've had before so its all good.

And just for you Rawson, theres lots of historical stuff round the area, so I'm sure you could embrace the culture like you've always wanted to.

Right boys, due to it being a leap year the only day my mum can get to first choice before the 1st of March is:

TUESDAY 26th FEBUARY

That means you have a week from today to get that cheque in! You will need to send it first class NEXT monday but even thats a bit late.

Been in to first choice today and we are booked! There was a slight change in the price as the last one was a quote, the total price is now £273, I hope everyone can manage the extra £13!

Also the deposit went up to £40, so now you need to send me a cheque for that amount instead as I've paid for you! If you already sent off £38 then just buy me a drink or something!

Also the rest of the deposit has gone up to £105 to be paid by the 1st of March

And the rest (£127.40) by the 9th of April

Me and Kent went into first choice today and had a look into some holidays, this one came up and I think its got pretty much what everyone wanted!

I want to book it in the next couple of days really or we might miss out!

Price:£260 which is a bargin! its £25 deposit and £13 insurance which has to be paid when we book it, obviously I know everyones back at uni so I will pay your sum of £38 as long as you pay me back asap, just send me a check.

Holiday 2007

As Christmas approaches I've been thinking about next years holiday, and its probably about time to start planning...

Firstly can everyone who wants to come let me know so I can get some sort of list together, as per usual it should cost about £300 and take place sometime in early July. We will be booking at christmas and final payments will probably have to be in by April sometime.

Can I also have suggestions for where people want to go, then I can get a poll going or something and we can discuss it further.

Well this is the first time i've managed to get to a computer since getting out of hospital, heres the story: (sorry if there are spelling mistakes typing with one hand is quite difficult to be fair)

I was playing rugby on saturday, a friendly, my first game of the season, I made a tacle on a guy in the first half and felt a sharp pain in my little finger on my right hand. I thought nothing of it at first then I looked at it and there was a small piece of bone protruding from my finger, I figured this was not a good thing and went off. One of the lads took me to hospital, I was hoping for a quick strap up job but it was worse than I had feared.

I was in A&E for 5 and a half hours, saw 2 nurses and 3 docters and then they told me I was gonna have to stay the night and have an operation on it under general anesthetic.

I waited all sunday for them to do it, they starve you aswell, but it got to 6pm and they said they wern't gonna do it. This happened on monday aswell, they finally did the op on tuesday but didn't get out till wednesday because I had to have a course of antibiotics.

Got out 4pm on wednesday and went out (I had missed the first few nights of freshers week) I wasn't planning to drink due to all the drugs in my system but did anyway. Since then i've been pretty pissed all the time.

I'm not in any pain really apart from the wires holding my finger together.

Lifes good though, should be back to normal in about 6 weeks so no worries!

The Return

So I'm back in Essex, not much has changed apart from the fact they've nearly finished the new lecture hall which looks a bit like a giant hula hoop made of mirrors.

All is well at the house and I'm making it feel as homely as possible, especially because I'm all alone till Sunday. Though its quite scary all the stuff you have to sort out, like bills, TV Licence, when the bin man comes etc etc. Oh the Joy!

As I'm back early, as in before the term officailly starts there is a massive lack of English people, in fact I feel like I'm in bloody China on campus, never mind though they will all disappear when the English arrive. At the moment I'm in one of the computer labs surrounded by them, got I want some Egg fried rice, maybe I could ask one of them to wip me some up. Really wish I had the internet at the house, thats another thing to sort out...

Bashed out a load of CV's today as well as watching about 10 episodes of Family Guy, gotta head to BNQ later and get a plug for the upstairs bathroom.

Loving my new bike, I forgot how much fun cycling was!

Planning on watching Sin City tonight with a ice cool glass of whisky, that will be nice.

Well I think thats about everythings thats happening at the moment, I've got loads of pictures of the summer that I'll get up when I get the internet at home.

Now off for a pint and a cigarette at the SU, the Chinese don't dare go in there.

Oh my mum text me last night saying Richard Hammond (from Top Gear if you didn't know) had a accident whilst flming, looks pretty nasty:

Last night....

Heres what I did last night,

Went to Kents, drank a bottle of wine, got a lift into town with Nev, went into Zest drunk some vodka and lemonades.

Then Shields turned up with the others, for some reason we decided to down a shot of Sambuca and then a vodka lemonade one after the other. We did this about 6-7 times.

The next thing I remember is wanting to leave, this was a very bad decision...

I left Zest on my own without telling anyone and staggered to the bus stop, I think this was about 1am but I'm really not good on times. I had missed the bus and it was going to be like an hour so I decided to get a cab.

I walked to the taxi rank, getting out £20 on the way. I tried to get in someone elses taxi then got told to wait for the next one. I got in the cab when it arrived, by this point I didn't really know what was going on.

We drove out of town and were going past blockbuster where I puked everywhere, twice. The taxi driver stopped and kicked me out shouting at me, "I can't bloody work for the rest of the night now!" I gave him my £20 for compensation and then he sped off leaving me standing in the middle of the road with no money and no way to get home.

I started walking, now the walk is quite a blur, I got to Kesgrave Kitchen and then it started pouring with rain, I remember attepting to run and falling over into a puddle. Eventually I got to the first subway after The Bell. I figured as it was tipping it down I should probably wait for it to stop. I sat down in the middle of the subway and dropped off.

The next thing I know I'm sitting in an ambulance with a paramedic sitting next to me asking me questions and poking my finger with needles. Supposedly some guy had walked past and called it when I was asleep in the subway. I then sober up a bit and realise what I silly situation I'm in.

Then somehow the paramedic knew Lawrence was right next to us smoking a joint with the dealer. Lawrence came out and met me, the paramedic gave him some advice about looking after me and then left.

I walked back to Wheelers with him, smoked a spliff then walked the rest of the way home, flinging my sick covered shirt away at some point.

All in all it was a pretty mental night, but I had a great time when I was at Zest, just a shame I decided to leave.

Drinking on the Green tonight!

As theres no one going to Monday night zest tonight (due to Thursday being results day and everyone going out then)

Me and some of the lads figured tonight would be a good night to do the old school tradition of drinking on the Green (Martlesham Heath). I know the weather isn't the best but really who cares...

Bring boos, footballs, cricket bats, rounders gear, garden games, blankets and what ever else rocks your boat. I expect it will last late into the night like the last one so a jumper would probably be handy to.

I don't finish work till 8pm but will be out straight after that, Dan, Wheeler and Hendy will be there from 7pm so come along anytime after that!

Lets have a good night peeps and a good turnout, this is a summer tradition, spread the word to people who won't read this because i'm outta credit!

Just got up fully clothed to see wheeler in one of his famous sleeping postions on my sofa bed, bevs crashed out on the sofa in the lounge, and everywhere else is empty, my parents bed looks like someones had a go at sleepin in it not sure who.

Had a message from dumb written on paper telling me he loves me and that he'll be back at 4 to help clean up, it will probably be done by then anyway!

Not sure what happened to D or hend and abbie, I thought they were all staying...

I think my sister summed up the state of the house pretty well in her note:

"Gone to work, clean up the shit"

My parents go away on holiday this Saturday, so its a party at mine from 9'oclock onwards, as I'm working.
